Mother's Day

ON Friday I got my 4th booster for Covid from Pfizer  and all I have wanted to do ever since then is sleep which is a completely different reaction to a booster than anything else I have ever experienced so far. So, when I woke up Saturday I mostly slept all day and didn't feel well. But, my family went to the outlets shopping about an hour or more away from here so it was pleasant to have the whole house to myself with only our dog here who is a Blue Merle Corgi female about 2 1/2 years old now.

On the way back my youngest daughter texted me and wanted me to go out and buy flowers for my wife and my older daughter who lives in Southern California had missed the deadline with florists to send flowers for today. So, early this morning I got up and out to a Supermarket and bought two Rose bushes in bloom that we can plant in our back yard one is yellow and pink roses combined and one is yellow roses. We already have likely a 30 year old yellow rose bush and a White Rose bush that have been bearing roses sometimes twice a year for the last 22 years or so we have lived here on the northern Coast of California near the beach. I also bought a large mylar balloon that says "Happy Mother's Day" and about 5 mothers day Cards from full sentiment to funny in range. I thought my daughter would want a couple of them but she had already gotten a card so I wound up giving my wife 5 Mother's Day cards and just signing two of the funnier ones from the kids. So, then I had a beautiful Brunch with my wife and youngest daughter and went back to sleep because I couldn't stay awake anymore.

I am retired so sleeping mostly for a couple of days isn't really a problem for me personally and is sort of peaceful in most ways. However, if I had to work at something every day this reaction from my 4th booster likely would be very problematic. So, this appears to be one kind of reaction to the boosters.

My wife  says that she thinks it means I really needed the booster to help me not get Omicron. This is her viewpoint. So, hopefully this reaction doesn't go on much longer.

Happy Mother's Day!
