311,000 young Americans have experienced Gun Violence since 1999

This doesn't mean that they were shot. It means that people in school with them were shot likely that they knew or were related to.

The title is from PBS Newshour on Wednesday June 1st 2022.

If you have ever experienced someone dying from any cause this is not something you soon will forget.

Most of the people I saw dying or dead recently were from traffic accidents of various kinds. The worst ones were motorcycle accidents where someone in a car turned from another street in front of them and they had nowhere to go to survive. If you have ever seen someone in a death seizure from a violent death this is something you won't soon forget either. I have seen this too. But, remember I lived through the 1950s and 1960s and 1970s when people dying all the time was more common because people generally didn't wear seat belts in cars or trucks until the late 1980s or after around the country.
