I think if Putin is Stimied in Ukraine we one day might see him doing something like Nuking Kyiv off the map just as a matter of course. It depends upon many factors. For example, retired General Mattis of the Marine Corps. has said: "According to his research Russia is withering away as a nation because of Sanctions." Does this stop Putin who lives in an ivory tower untouched directly by any suffering of his people from turning Ukraine (or the rest of Europe) into one big nuclear crater?
No. It doesn't.
And this is the reality we all live with daily.
