As we all know, Playing God can be dangerous

I was reading about scientists creating a synthetic embryo with only basically stem cells. I personally think this is a really bad idea. 

First of all, this is going to upset or make violent many religious people of the world especially terrorists of all kinds.

But, even if you disregard religious fundamentalist terrorists in this I think it's a bad idea. Why?

Because it's the same problem as genetically modified foods that kill some people when they eat them.

It's about evolution, natural evolution.

Evolution will naturally "thin out" or make disappear completely things that don't work inncluding artificially designed things like this over time. 

How it will do this is not fully understood presently by any one person.

The problem I see is the same "Terminator" problem that made everyone upset and freaked out in 1984 when  Arnold Schwarzenegger played the lead in 

"Terminator" in 1984. In other words people realized

that this could actually happen on the trajectory the world

was headed then and it still could happen. 

The same problem (even though the problem could manifest

in much different ways could also arise by breeding

synthetic humans who have no empathy for humans like

us at all and instead see us as to be wiped out like some

humans wipe out flies as a matter of course.

If we create a human species in a synthetic way like this

we also might be creating "HUMAN EXTINCTION".

This is the real problem I see here.
