The Resistance Operating Concept was developed in 2013 following Russia's war with Georgia a few years earlier but its value was only realized after Russia's invasion of Ukraine's Crimean peninsula in 2014. It provides a blueprint for smaller nations to effectively resist and confront a larger neighbor that has invaded.

The basic tenets were I think learned by Revolutionary War Soldiers from Native American Indians fighting techniques.
There was often something called "Counting Coup" which is a form of psychological warfare more than anything else where you ride up to an opponent and just touch him or hit him with a stick but not try to kill him. So, the basis of all this is to use 1 or a few people to relentlessly hit your enemy where they least expect it to be hit.
So, in the Ukraine war it was using snipers to kill lead drivers in resupply truck lines of food and diesel Gas to the front lines in Ukraine.
In other words "IF the Russian Army runs out of food and Diesel it cannot function and their tanks without fuel (as well as all their tank commanders and soldiers "are SITTING DUCKS".
Then if the Russian Army uses old fashioned rules where everything is top down monolithic then they are going to lose simply because a grass roots approach from the bottom up is often a better way to really defeat an enemy.
In the end it is NOT the generals who defeat another army, it is the people in the opposing army's resourcefulness and psychological warfare.
So, the actions of Resistance in some ways resembles Vandals destroying food, Diesel, Equipment munitions so the larger Russian Army has NO food, munitions or Diesel to operate on.
This is the basic idea.
