It's 59 degrees in San Francisco here in the June Glooms of October 1st?
IN case you don't live in the SF Bay area it should be as warm as it is going to get in August, September and October of any given year. But not this year!
But, still think I would rather be here on the Pacific Ocean than anywhere in Mid Florida or East coast southern Cities right now what with Hurricane Ian. Hurricanes don't usually make it above Baja California in Mexico even into San Diego (although sometimes the rain from Hurricanes does).
So, living in California along the ocean you usually don't have to deal with hurricanes ever. But, with global climate changes that could change. however, when we bought our house we made sure it was over 100 feet in altitude away from the ocean (about a mile from the ocean here). So, if a tidal wave took out everything up to 75 feet in altitude nearby us we still would be okay. Yes. We do get tidal waves here in California because of the ring of Fire which circles the Pacific Ocean basin and we do get in that ring of fire over 7 or 8 level earthquakes that sometimes create tidal waves. So, when you rent or buy along the ocean it's important to consider this ongoing fact that should affect where you live or rent so you can survive something large when or if it hits unexpectely.
