The difference likely can be attributed to losses in war and also because of better medicine than other countries women don't die here much during pregnancy or childbirth. However, it would make sense to me that the states that have outlawed abortion likely will kill off women at a rate of about 2 women per hundred so likely soon in the U.S. there will be an equal number of men and women because of laws against abortions killing more and more poorer women who likely would be uneducated too in states outlawing abortions.
