If you believe that Mt. Shasta is an ancient Lemurian Library:

 However, the library is not in books or anything like that, the library is contained in the rocks whether they be volcanice or slate or whatever you find on the mountain that draws you to it.

Many people put a rock under their pillow or even inside their pillow so they can sleep on it and be engrammed with ancient wisdom and knowledge which has a civilization here on earth that actually went to the stars like Lemuria.

Lemuria came after Mu which was the first large civilization here on earth that was galactic in nature. When Mu Sank the bigger mother ships from earth who were traders to other planets were lost because of losing too many engineers when Mu Sank (where the Hawaiian Islands are now).

Lemuria was the people who survived the sinking of Mu. I remember being an officer in the "Star Force" at that time and had the use of an Interplanetary space ship. I was able to save my own family during the sinking of Mu by taking them up on top of the Sierras where the water didn't come.

I helped blow up the coastal range near San Francisco which created the San Francisco Bay so that the water in the Sacramento Valley that was salt water from Mu inundation could be released back into the ocean instead of remaining as a  Salt water  lake the size of the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys inland. Then people who survived the sinking of Mu in Lemuria could farm in the Sacramento Valley then and still survive.

Atlantis was founded by remnants of the technology from Lemuria over thousands of years. Then Atlantis Too was sunk by humanoids from other planets just like Mu was sunk before. This is why Earth eventually lost inter-galactic Travel and even interplanetary travel for so long and went into the dark ages before now.

The Ark of the Covenant in the Bible was primarily a long distance communication device and not originally designed as a weapon of war also back from this period. 

So, when it was given to Moses it was because he was set to become a Pharoah in Egypt before this.

Anyway, much of this technology and knowledge of this era of earth is inside the rocks of Mt. Shasta as an ancient archival library.

Note: Lemuria was simply "The people of Mu who survived in the California, and Oregon and Baja California area called Lemurians (or the people who survived the sinking of Mu).
