When Captain Cook first came to Hawaii only the King and the Kahunas (medicine men) were allowed to "SEE" Them

It's a little like UFOS now. Only the leadership is allowed to see them without ruining their careers and family's lives.

Whenever an alien culture from around the world of off planet arrives or comes to be known, often the existing cultures in that area are shielded from knowledge regarding them for whatever the reason.

Most of the reason usually is that the existing government and business and cultural practices could NOT survive the scrutiny applied to them if confronted with all the differences with the New or alien culture that that culture is having difficulty dealing with.

It's just like UFOs since the 1940s and before. This information is usually ONLY known about fully by a few world leaders and that's all. Anyone else's knowledge about these things is usually forbidden upon pain of death like it was here in the U.S. from the 1940s until around the time the Berlin Wall and Iron Curtain Fell when the Soviet Union Collapsed. And even then this only opened up from around 1990 to around 2001 when the World Trade Center was crashed into by jets and collapsed one by one. 

So, there really was only a 10 year period when it was relatively okay to know about UFOS.

Now we are in a new way of looking at all these things that I haven't entirely figured out what the rules are at present.

So, mostly it is retired people like myself talking online or in person about their UFO experiences during their lives now. They are doing this as a favor to mankind because not knowing about UFOs is like going into Grizzly bear country in the wilds and not knowing about grizzly bears. It can be very dangerous or fatal not to know enough of what you are getting into.

Actually, UFOS are less of a threat than most world governments are to people in regard to UFOS.
