The toughest year for Day Traders since 2008

Many Day Traders are hanging it up because short term gains aren't really happening in the market lately. If you look at the 10 richest people on earth they all have lost money in this market worldwide. The one to lose the most (on paper at least) is Elon Musk. However, I wouldn't count him out simply because Tesla increased it's sales by 40% in the last year. So, even though the investors in Tesla are more liberal in nature and might have disinvested in Tesla because of Musk's Twitter issues the actual Tesla sales are up 40%. So, maybe it doesn't really matter if Liberal investors move away their investments in Tesla as long as Teslas are selling this well worldwide.

Besides, Musk created Tesla to change the dynamic of Cars on earth and he has succeeded in this and now other automakers are in competition with Tesla which is likely good for reducing Carbon Dioxide on earth.

However, how do we generate electricity worldwide? Coal is the biggest in the first entry I found. However, the next one says Globally we get the largest amount of our energy from oil, followed by coal, gas, then hydroelectric power.

So, yes. using electricity burns less gas and diesel but it burns oil and coal and gas and hydroelectric power and solar power instead. And also somewhere in there is Wind power, Geothermal power, methane power etc.

Coal is currently the largest source of electricity globally. For many countries remains the dominant source.
