Because our house is around 2500 square feet floor space you cannot get a Wifi Signal from one end of the house to another end of the house. So, we discovered that we could use Repeaters which you plug in floor electrical outlets to boost signal to other parts of the house through the air.
However, I also learned from a tech today who came to set up Cable for a new connection in one of our bedrooms that the types of repeaters we have are not the best ones. So, sometimes it's better to run an Ethernet cable if you need a lot of bandwidth directly into your laptop or desktop for maximum signal. He also said that if you don't have an Ethernet connection built into your laptop or other computer that you can get an Ethernet to USB I believe adapter to run Ethernet directly into your desktop or laptop computer
