I found this article online through a photograph of Cher and then learned more about Pema Chodron who is an 86 year old ANI or Tibetan Buddhist Nun that Cher was studying with. When I found this I found that Pema Chodron had some relationship (as a student) with Chogyam Trungpa which led me to the documentary I found called Crazy Wisdom at TUBI where you can stream this documentary on Chogyam Trungpa if you wish. However, it is free so you have to sit through the commercials too.

During a recent interview with Architectural Digest well-known singer Cher identified herself as a Buddhist—one “who should always be in after-school detention.”:
“I’ve played around with Buddhism for years,” continues the actress, a devotee of the American Buddhist nun Pema Chödrön (“a genius in Sheldon Leonard’s body,” she quips). “As corny as it sounds, the soul of the universe, everything that I need, I can find in its practice.”
