Why is artificial intelligence (the way it presently is being used) so dangerous

There is Zero Accountability for any bad things that happen at present!

It is sort of like Donald Trump who rapes women, pays off prostitutes and hookers while his wife is having his son Barron and then expects to not be EVER held accountable for his actions.

Only what is happening with Artificial intelligence right now worldwide is potentially thousands of times as bad.

Artificial intelligence has no human morals and has no propensity to tell the truth about anything. It is a program created by likely hundreds or thousands of programmers over the last 70 years or more through an evolutionary process.

It is accountable to no one.

It's sort of like the guy who put his Tesla on Autopilot in Florida and then watched a Harry Potter movie on his view screen in his car while letting his Tesla drive the car. That's INSANE!

What happened to the guy watching Harry Potter?

He was cut in two when the Tesla thought a semi truck driving in front of him making a turn was a sign at the side of the road. So, when the Tesla thought this it drove right under the semi truck which took off the roof of the car and took the man's head and part of his torso with it. Instant Death!

This (though metaphorical) is one of the kinds of insane problems you can have with Artificial intelligence with no human constraints upon it at all.

I hope this is helpful to all the NON-programmers out there. I learned to program in Fortran and COBOL starting around 1966 in College.

There was a saying you heard a lot back then. "Garbage IN Garbage OUT" and this meant that if your program was garbage then whatever you got out of the computer would be garbage too.

Artificial Intelligence in it's present form is "GARBAGE"

And anyone who doesn't realize this might jeapordize their lives in as of yet "UNKNOWN WAYS!"

I'm not using any AI like CHAT GPT because of this because of what I know that could potentially go wrong. There is presently NO LIMIT to what could go wrong when people take this kind of Software seriously!
