I like to think of timelines sort of like a tree

 And the decisions you make in life (whether you want to be making them or not) decide where you are going to wind up today and every day.

I have found that putting people first always was always the best answer in life. 

And while you are putting people first always you look for opportunities and you pray for opportunities to survive better than you presently are.

When I decided that compassion for myself and all beings was the most powerful and useful path for any being to pursue I put my mind to this. 

Before this I realized that a lot of What Christians tend to do is a power trip and it's effect on people isn't always good. But, this isn't on an individual level this is the problem I see with Churches in general mostly. Most people eventually figure out that compassion is the most important thing in life for yourself and for others.

Otherwise, "He who lives by the sword dies by the sword".

In other words there is ALWAYS someone bigger stronger and faster than you that will kill you if you keep confronting people all your life.

To continue confronting people always is sort of a way to commit suicide if one is realistic about all this.

So, once you move onto a path of compassion towards yourself and all other beings this is the major key to longevity as a human being here on earth or throughout the universe.
