The problem is: "That the longer this war in Gaza goes on the more Israelis and Palestinians and Iranians and Hezbollah and other Arabs are going to die." Hamas I think set off an unending war which I'm not sure at this point that Israel is going to survive no matter how many Arabs they kill.
And, unfortunately all of Europe and the U.S. and other countries not in the middle east will likely get drawn into this long protracted war for various different reasons. This is an insidious thing that Hamas has now started sort of like quicksand sucking all nations down into a death cycle that might not be able to be stopped. It looks (sort of like World War I) and what started all that to begin with. (at least at this point).
