How do I activate my camera on my macbook air?

I just bought a new Macbook Air and wondered how I open my camera for photos and videos and things like Zoom and other things. I found out there is something called photo booth but then I went to applications and I couldn't get it to open. So, from Applications I dragged it down to my desktop to see if that would work and it did. I also had to load and drag down a Firefox logo to use my favorite browser. Then that worked too.

The problem is that the Safari Browser does not support having access to your URLs. So, you need to get a browser like Chrome or Firefox if you actually want to use your URLS in whatever you are doing. Like if you are programming in HTML like I sometimes still do you need your URLs in order to make the HREF  work along with the LINK TEXT feature of an HREF when creating links.

begin quote:

The camera automatically turns on when you open an app—such as FaceTime or Photo Booth—or use a feature—such as Markup or head pointer—that can use the camera. A green light beside the camera glows to indicate the camera is on.
