Purple said, "I see in your mind the dilemma. What is causing this is the magical thinking that humans have engendered since they evolved from the animals of earth and other planets in order to cope with unbelievably bad experiences smashing into the purely logical and technical aspects of all this."

Have you ever entertained the scenario that other Galactic Civilizations are far in advance of us creating spiritual situations and religions here on earth? Why would they do this?

They would do this to change the behavior of humans in various ways or maybe just to study what they would do in different situations? Or they might do this to prevent human extinction. My thought is the last one likely is the most obvious one. Since we are considered to be like the Grizzly Bears and Deer and Wolves of Yellowstone (only for all of Earth Galactic Park instead) this makes complete sense to me.

If you study the "Cargo Cults" of the Pacific Islanders during World War II all this makes a lot more sense.

The U.S. Army is still likely worshipped by some of the more remote Islanders in the Pacific.
