Happy New Year everyone around the world!

The last year has been pretty strange as years go. Maybe not as strange as Covid-19 wiping out whole groups of people, especially those to the right politically worldwide and especially those over 45 years of age worldwide.

However, I think because of Artificial Intelligence and other things that this next year will be a mixed blessing. For example, many types of cancer likely will be cured (at least here in the U.S. and Europe) because we have functioning health care systems (sort of) compared to most of the rest of the world.

I also think storms are going to get bigger and bigger in basically unheard of weather events. So, the once in 1000 year statement will be used all over the world, instead of saying what it really is which is a new normal.

But, if we prepare for the inevitable weather wise (which could be anything at this point), then we and our families are more likely to survive whatever comes.

I once read a book from the 1930s called "Life Begins at 40".

In this book it said something like "Life Begins at 40" IF you have all your ducks in a row by then otherwise 40 might be close to the end of your life because many people have trouble working between 40 and 50 hard full time.

So, I see that Global Climate changes are kind of like this too. If you prepare for them you and your family might survive all this. If you don't then you might not.

So, preparing for the future is one of the ways to survive.

I have found learning to become more instinctual and intuitive helped me a lot in preparing for now and into the future. It brought me surprisingly to age 75. I am very surprised to still be alive and relatively healthy at 75 by the way simply because my father was gone by 69 from prostate cancer. we all thought he would live forever but then he didn't like Doctors and even when it was diagnosed in 1980 he didn't do what he needed to do to stay alive so he was gone by 1985 after 5 years.

So, learning to be adaptable is a part of survival too. Don't be like those people who didn't believe they had Covid even to their dying day in the hospital and were angry. Being just a little realistic and pragmatic can keep you alive through everything to come.
