Storm warning for Mt. Shasta and Siskiyou County

One of my friends in Mt. Shasta sent me a photo of him keeping his driveway cleared of snow with a snow blower. There looked to be a couple of feet of snow or more in town that he was clearing.

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS EVENING

* WHAT...A wintry mix of rain, sleet, and heavy snow. Snow may
affect all of the area, but the heaviest snow will be above
5000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph over exposed higher
terrain and along Interstate 5 south of Weed.

* WHERE...South Central Siskiyou County. This includes Snowmans
Summit and Dead Horse Summit on Highway 89, I-5, and Mt Shasta
Ski Park.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM PST this evening. The heaviest snow will
occur through 5 PM PST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.
