The National Weather Service in OXNARD has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Much of the coastal waters from Point Piedras Blancas to San Mateo Point

* Until 1145 PM PDT.

* At 939 PM PDT, clusters of strong thunderstorms with an increasing threat of
waterspouts were being observed across much of the coastal waters from
near Point Piedras Blancas to San Mateo Point.

HAZARD...Enhanced threat of Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots,
large hail, and cloud to ocean lightning.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could
result in structural damage.
