Likely it is because of Hurricane Helene in Florida, Georgia and South and North Carolina etc. I heard a weather man on CNN say that he has never seen any Hurricane do anything like this ever. And I remember Kaitlyn Collins saying: "That's the scariest thing I have heard about this storm so far." He was referring to how this storm is remaining a Hurricane so far inland that landslides and mud slides and flooding will continue on up into the
Appalachian Mountains
Mountain range in North America
which is kind of scary to contemplate because these kinds of landslides and mud slides are much more common in places like California which can get up to 16 inches of rain sometimes in one or two days and cars and boulders and houses often are pushed down hillsides here when this happens. But, this is very rare for the East Coast and appears to be something new people are going to have to survive there now too.
