Covid has changed the dynamics of work in the U.S.

I think you have to see all this in an entirely different context than before Covid. It is a much or more of a change to the workplace as World War II was when women began to work on planes and Tanks a lot and many of them stayed in the Work Force After World War II because they liked this better than being homemakers or they wanted to do both to raise their children if they didn't have a partner anymore or something like this. (Many lost their men especially to World war II).

Covid has created similar changes because it wasn't really 7 million people who died worldwide from Covid it was at least 70 million people because the others were not tested before they died of Covid so saying only 7 million people died of Covid is basically ridiculous.

Also, how about families who lost their breadwinner or both breadwinners to Covid along the way. This happened too a lot worldwide because one parent often infected another parent and then both died (likely before they ever were tested for Covid.

These changes are still reverberating around the world from all the deaths and the maimings of various kinds from Covid which are ongoing now.

Then people over 45 decided to retire early or to get jobs where they work online rather than have to go into an office where they could still easily become infected with Covid or RSV or a killing Flu or other ailments. Since about 95% of the people worldwide who died of Covid were over 45 years of age this makes complete sense.

So, when I hear that young people are having trouble breaking into new careers because older folks are working longer I hear that but I have a hard time making sense of it given all the changes so far since Covid.

So, I still I think don't get the full dynamics of what is happening. However, mostly what I see is a lot of younger people working remotely at home while they often travel to different places all over the earth while working online.

For example, my best friend's son is CPA but works for a company in San Francisco but actually works out of Oregon from his home there online. This is the sort of thing I'm seeing with successful young people from their late 20s into their 40s and beyond.

And like I said this sort of work often can be done literally anywhere on earth that has a good online connection.

So, all these things have radically changed the labor market worldwide too.
