So, from my point of view the 3rd world war is another Cold War that began in 2014. Before this there was the terrorist war that began in Afghanistan when the U.S. gave stinger missiles to Osama Bin Laden to wipe out Russia's air force and Tank force and to drive the Russian Army out of Afghanistan. So, I would say the Terrorist war (like the Cold Wars) was from the 1980s when Osama Bin Laden Drove the Russians out of Afghanistan with American Stinger missiles or similar missiles of other brand names worldwide with this technology.
So, the present Cold War I would say began when Russia took Crimea in 2014 and has continued unabated ever since.
And Poland (just like during World war II) is already preparing to be invaded by Russia any year now just like they prepared to be taken over by Hitler in 1939.
