The Sikhs Golden Temple in Punjab

I have a friend who is an American originally from Vermont who was a mountain Climber most of his life around the world. He visits the Golden Temple at least once a year for the last 25 or 30 years there to visit his Guru along with thousands of other Sikhs from Around the world. The Sikh religion is a Universalist religion that was started to try to stop wars between Hindus and Muslims and has since also embraced Christianity and Buddhism and other religions too to become a truly Universalistic Religion based in India and the Punjab of India. Often Sikhs in the U.S. will wear the traditional Turban of a Sikh and drive Semi Trucks that they own hauling goods all over America and Canada and often they own gas stations or 7-11 types of convenience stores because they are very into Right livelihood as a part of their religion.
