IF you actually understand how autos and trucks are produced for buying in the U.S. the parts come from almost anywhere but mostly the parts come from Canada, Mexico and Europe or Japan for Japanese cars or South Korea for South Korean cars but I don't think cars from China or India are allowed to be sold in the U.S. for a variety of reasons.
So, this is one reason why Tesla could cease to exist JUST from these Tariffs inacted by Trump because the stocks have dropped recently to about 50% of their previous value and people who are in places like California or other more liberal states are selling all their Tesla Stock and selling or dumping their Teslas in protest of Trump and Musk.
So, by imposing this tariff it could cause Tesla to go the way of the Tucker and the DeLorean within the next few years time here in the U.S. However, it's hard to say what would happen in China and places like this. So, it's possible that Teslas might stop being built or sold in Europe, Canada, Mexico and the U.S. but still built in China. We live in very strange times.
