Just when someone says: "There is nothing left to know, there is nothing left to explore, there is nothing left to do" someone shows people that this is just wrong.
Life is potentially unlimited because this is how God made us in his image. However, moving forward can be a lot of work to even try to reach your full potential.
When I look at my own life (looking at how crazy the 1950s were as a child) I see that I have already gone 90% further than anything I thought possible in the 1950s.
So, I went from being told I would die as a soldier in a nuclear war to becoming a world traveler and a father and a grandfather. I went from being limited to being relatively unlimited.
How did that happen?
I think it is my relationship with Life and God and the universe and my pursuit of enlightenment.
A Breakthrough for me was when one of my Tibetan lama Teachers explained enlightenment this way:
He said" Enlightenment is not something to be achieved. Everyone is already there. So, acceptance of your enlightenment is sort of like being an actor on a stage and choosing to open the curtain of your enlightenment."
It isn't about becoming enlightened because you are already enlightened.
You just need to fully accept that you are enlightened.
However, from the moment you realize you are enlightened there is no limit to new levels of enlightenment every day.
It's sort of like accepting you are enlightened is like accepting that you can drive a car or truck or even fly a plane. But, the next levels of enlightenment is where you can travel to in that car or plane or Truck.
When you fully understand this you go from one level of enlightenment to the next and the next and the next.
And each person is a custom version of enlightenment unique to them.
