We could see something like "Les Miserables" happening to Trump and Musk and their associates if this keeps up

Trump and Musk appear to be absolutely clueless as to the real consequences of their actions in the deaths of Americans  and the death of people around the world and the full consequences potentially of all their actions. I can't believe anyone is as foolish and as unthinking as they actually appear to be!

French Revolution experienced in 'Les Miserables' – Chico ...
The most famous musical about the French Revolution, or at least a period closely following it, is "Les Misérables". It's a sung-through musical based on Victor Hugo's 1862 novel, and it premiered in Paris in 1980.
Here's a more detailed look:
  • Based on a Novel:
"Les Misérables" is a musical adaptation of Victor Hugo's acclaimed novel of the same name.

  • Time Period:
The musical primarily focuses on the period following the French Revolution, specifically the 1832 June Rebellion in Paris, but the story begins in 1815.

  • Key Characters:
    • Jean Valjean: An ex-convict who experiences redemption and becomes a symbol of hope.

  • Javert: A rigid police inspector who relentlessly pursues Valjean.

  • Fantine: A single mother who faces hardship and exploitation.

  • Cosette: Fantine's daughter, who is raised by the Thénardiers and later becomes a symbol of innocence.

  • Marius: A young student revolutionary who falls in love with Cosette.

  • Enjolras: The leader of a group of student revolutionaries.

  • Gavroche: A street urchin who becomes a symbol of the youth and boldness of the rebellion.

The musical explores themes of redemption, justice, love, and the struggles of the poor and marginalized.

  • Musical Style:
The music is known for its powerful and emotional score, with songs like "Do You Hear the People Sing?" and "One Day More" becoming iconic.

  • Productions:
"Les Misérables" has been a hugely successful musical, with productions around the world, including on Broadway and in the West End.

  • Other Musicals about the French Revolution:
While "Les Misérables" is the most famous, other musicals have explored the French Revolution, including "La Revolution Francaise" and "1789: Les Amants de la Bastille".
