Two Operations

 A friend's mother is in the hospital and was there for one operation and instead they did 2 or more because they needed to. However, recovering from two operations is more iffy for anyone. However, I think women are more likely to survive these kinds of operations than men because men are more stiff and brittle. It's true that men can be strong but they are strong in a different way than women.

Men can be like oak trees but in a great wind those limbs will break from their strength and stiffness in a great wind whereas traditionally at least women have be more like the willow tree that will bend in the wind and the branches don't break that easily.

So, the strength of men is completely different than the strengths of women. Both are needed to help the human race survive here on earth ongoing.

Anyway I hope my friend's mother can survive this because her many children and grandchildren need her to.
