It was just what my wife needed as she was kind of grouchy today. This couple who are physicists time travel from likely Mexico City to Mexico City in their university from 1966 to 2025. It is very sweet in some ways but also realistic in others.
Just so you know I was 18 in 1966 and my wife was 11 years old then so I can relate to what 1966 was because that's when I graduated High School from a private School in Santa Fe, New Mexico. However, I had Attended Glendale High School in my Sophomore and Junior Year before I went to Santa Fe, for my last year of high school which was a boarding school and my parents stayed in Glendale, California in the Los Angeles Area of California.
Anyway, it is sort of a sweet movie from the perspective of my wife and I. However, it's also true that we were alive back then, even though we didn't meet until 1994. Both of us lived in Southern California a lot growing up and going to school.
However, for my wife at least it was just what the doctor ordered.
