Since Charles Sindelar died in 1947 the year before I was born I didn't meet him only his wife at the White Temple likely in 1954

 However, I remember meeting Pearl Sindelar quite clearly when I was about 6 years old at the White Temple in the Silverlake District of Los Angeles then in 1954.
