Why is this?
The amount of people that could blackmail Trump (because he is already in the Epstein Files) and because so many famous and rich people worldwide are in it too who went to Epstein's island to rape young unsuspecting women who thought they were going to a cool party and didn't know they were going to get raped or die there creates a death knell for Trump in many many ways.
People whose livelihoods or political futures or both who are threatened will do almost anything like they did when they killed Epstein to shut him up. He knew he would be killed if he was put in prison. This was a no brainer for him.
