If you come to some places in Europe to stay often they will use a Duvet which means that they don't have the sheets separate from the blankets so you sleep under a quilt. The good part of this is that you are very cozy and warm under your quilt. The bad part of this is you cannot tuck in the covers so this duvet might slide off onto the floor in the night if you move around at all sleeping there.
But, the cozy feeling of a duvet can be wonderful and comforting especially if you are jet lagged from your flight across the ocean from the U.S.
