Giant trees of the Amazon get taller as forests fatten up on carbon dioxide
As the Amazon forests are turned into deserts by presidents like Jair Bolsonaro (ex-president of Brazil) sort of like Brazil's Trump it makes perfect sense that all the forests that remain would become more lush from the dramatic increases in Carbon dioxide now in the rainforest since the previous Rainforest drank up more Carbon Diocide (when the forest still existed and wasn't a desert) which it is now.
When the settlers and miners killed of the remaining native Brazilians through various means and then cut down or burned down their forests it wasn't just the native Brazilians that died in this but also everything alive from Birds to monkeys to snakes to whatever used to live in those jungles now destroyed into Deserts.
So, the dramatic Increase in Carborn Dioxide is a boon to all Forests left especially in South America but also all over the world (even as the oxygen created from all that carbon dioxide dramatically has diminished.
Because humans breathe in Oxygen just like most animals on earth and we breathe out carbon dioxide which increases global Warming exponentially.
So, when someone cuts down or burns down forests (on purpose or through forest fires caused by lightning) the amount of Oxygen humans have to breathe decreases significantly.
I was noticing just how much oxygen there was in the Appalachian Mountains for example because of all the trees there on this mountain range that have been spared (at least so far) because the trees are mostly all still there in the mountains.
So, wherever we can we should try to preserve forests so humans can continue to breathe oxygen and not die by the hundreds or thousands or millions worldwide like they are many places on earth right now every day.
For example, about 7 million people die each year world wide because of air pollution and likely a lack of oxygen where they live now too. And this number is sure to increase exponentially over the next 20 to 80 years by the time we get to 2100 AD.
