However, if the government cannot open Democratic then maybe it shouldn't ever open?

 By all his actions Trump obviously does NOT believe in Democracy or else he wouldn't be doing anything he is doing.

As a result if he doesn't address Government healthcare I don't think the government should reopen possibly ever.

50,000 lives are at stake every year Government healthcare is not addressed by Trump and the Republicans.

This is equal to all our soldiers who died in the Viet Nam War. Think about this for a moment! 

It's true people will be starving in the U.S. starting November 1st 2025. However, there are still food banks where food can be obtained. Local Food banks we also donate to every year. Maybe if you have the means you should think about it too. It will prevent a lot of crime when people get too desperate from not being able to feed their kids to keep them alive.
