It's raining today where we are in Europe which means it likely is snowing (but likely not sticking) at higher altitudes

 One of the most surprising things for me (even though I was told this was true) is how where we are gets colder much faster than places like North Carolina (where we went to for a wedding) before coming to Europe. also, we are used to California weather which is very different than many places in Europe year around. So, all these things are surprising in different ways. Right now it's about 7:30 Am here while it is where I live in California still 10:30PM approximately the night before. So, mostly we are sleeping when it is between about 2 pm and 10pm where we live in California which is pretty strange to think about.

However, we have experienced many interesting things here like visiting palaces (there are a lot of them here in Europe) and the one we visited yesterday reminds me a lot of Versailles in France. Anway, I'm looking out of my hotel room at the people trying to get to work with umbrellas in the rain at a park across the street with the Light Rail trolleys going by and sort of glad I'm cozy in my hotel room with my wife still asleep likely until 8:30AM.

I think within a few days we will move to another location in europe away from the big city that we are presently staying in visiting my daughter and her husband and our grand daughter. My daughter and grand daughter will travel with us while her husband continues to work (at least during the week monday through Friday) though he will likely join us on weekends wherever we are then.
