Learning to Compost your perishable food might help right now too

There are many books and videos online to show you how to compost your perishable foods when you are through with them. This way you put nutrients back into your soil to make your food healthier that you are growing to stay alive worldwide.

OFten when I was growing my own organic foods from 1990 to 1992 on an acre of land in Mt. Shasta I would simply dig in our daily compost directly into our garden and this seemed to work as well. However, everyone has their own system of how to compost and how it works best for them. The easiest things I found to grow are usually corn and tomatoes and Carrots. A lot of people like to grow potatoes too because in an emergency your family can live on only potatoes if they have to as long as you eat the skins of the potatoes too which is where most of the nutrients are in a potato. However, then the potato has to be organically grown too because things like Apples and Carrots and potatoes will take into their meat directly pesticides and herbicides so you cannot wash them off of these things that you grow or buy somewhere.
