What is the TGV in France? It is the high speed Train system across France

I had never done this before 2009 anywhere on earth. It is like taking off in a jet plane and the constant speed you experience just before the passenger jet leaves the ground, only you stay at that speed across whole countries for long periods of time when it is safe enough. However, it can make you nauseous looking out like you do a car. You have to look about a mile in the distance not to get motion sickness at this speed (200 miles per hour) often.

In 2009 it was much easier to take the high Speed Train from Paris to Nice than fly there simply because it was faster and more convenient getting on train and there wasn't security you had to go through getting on or off the TGV trains. Also, in Nice the car rental place where we rented our Mercedes for our time in Nice and Monaco was close by the TGV Train station. So, all this went very smoothly from Paris to Nice.

Then we flew home from Nice to Paris to SFO (San Francisco Airport in California) The flight time from Paris to SFO (San francisco) is about 11 hours and 25 minutes on a direct Polar Flight.
