Writing

Getting down what's on your mind is often helpful. Often you do not have the right person to talk to about what is happening in your life so the best way often is to make yourself your own counselor. This was vital to me from ages 21 to 25 when I was in College because it helped me stay alive during this time in my life. Then at age 25 I met my first wife who got pregnant and we got married and my son gave me reason to stay alive and to raise him right.

So, writing can help you stay alive like it did me. I first began writing more at age 8 when my 16 year old cousin died in a car crash. I was an only child and there was no one there to talk to about this because then "Children then were to be seen and not heard" mostly.

So, writing for me was a survival tool that always has served me well in overcoming one obstacle after another in my life ongoing.

IF I didn't write down what was bothering me along the way I'm not sure I would be alive now here at 77 years of age.

Because you write down what's bothering you later you read this and become your own counselor. By stating a problem a solution can often be found.

Stay alive! Write down your problems so you or someone else can solve them.

Stay Alive!
