As I was composing this and reading what Google AI thought about Global Nuclear annihilation and the end of Civilization I realized that an Ice age could actually be caused by a Nuclear winter.
Also, I wondered if when a piece of the Planet Maldek (now the asteroid belt) hit the Yucatan peninsula 65 million years ago I wondered if this brought in an ice age too?
I'm thinking that this is possible too.
So, it is more than likely that not only would civilization end the ability to grow crops to survive most places would end too and the possibility of an Ice Age could also be caused by global thermonuclear annihilation too.
Interesting but likely true idea.
