Are we in a recession right now?

In some ways it looks like it already. How do we know this?

Rich people and middle Class people are buying more and more at Walmart this is one indication of this and less at higher end places. So, more higher end places like Restaurants and fancy stores with storefronts might be hard pressed to stay in business during the next 3 months or so.

The problem is as I see it is when you have tariffs like trump likes you often get Stagflation which is really dangerous and could lead to a 5 to 10 year Great Depression. If you study what happened to Japan with Stagflation starting around 1990 you can see what could happen here too during the next 5 to 10 years because of Trump's policies.

So, all the middle Class and poorer people who voted for Trump really got betrayed by him economically so far. 

We are already entering a period of Stagflation from my point of view. So, preparing for a recession or another Great Depression (whatever that means to you) might be important right now. 

Also the best and the brightest young Americans are moving to other countries because they cannot find jobs here sort of for the same reason that 1 million of the best and brightest Russians left Russia for good when Russia first attacked Ukraine.

Now I think you are going to see many more young people leave the U.S. because they don't want to get drafted (both male and female)  and have to fight in Venezuela so Trump can give Venezuelan Oil wells to his Oil buddies around the world.
