In 2018 in the fall I was dealing with a health issue when I wrote these chapters of Memories I think

 I was in Portland and my son was nursing me back to health and I was sad because my wife and two biological daughters were going to Ireland, Scotland and England without me.

I had never been to Ireland before and still haven't all these years later and I would never likely be able to replace this wonderful trip with my wife and two grown daughters because they were both in their 20s then and 7 years apart in age. 

However, writing these chapters of the Memories series was a wonderful experience despite all this and helped me heal a lot at that time. 

One of my medicines had gone sideways like a Physician's assistant had told me it eventually would   Anyway, it took me about a month to recover with my son's help in Portland staying in my daughter's apartment that they shared together then with my son helping me to stay alive.

So, during this time I wrote a lot of these Chapters there in Portland. It was a really good experience writing these Chapters even though I was basically alone (except for my son visiting me every few days (in Portland) so, it was a lot of quiet time trying to stay alive through recovery from a medicine gone sideways. But, eventually I came out of this problem okay. And my wife and two 20 something daughters had a good time in Ireland, Scotland and England without me in a trip I can never replace because now the youngest is 29 and living with her boyfriend in Texas and the older one is now 36 living in Europe with her lawyer Husband there.

However, I survived all this and got to write cool stuff which I found very healing and transformative in my life.
