there is nothing so bad that no good can come of it

I started with Descartes famous saying which is also my experience in the physical world which is:

"There is nothing so good that no bad may come of it and nothing so bad that no good may come of it".

Then I took the last part in the last article to demonstrate that even though what Trump is doing is really bad in a way not seen since World war II that Great Good could also come of this long term.

What good could come of it? The end of the Iranian World Terror machine. It could also bring the end of Putin in Russia Also and the end of the Ukraine war because all the drones and most missiles hitting Ukraine are built in Iran now. There are likely many more good things that potentially could come from this.

However, then there is Macron saying he is building many more nuclear weapons now (likely to fight Putin and Russia) because he sees the writing on the wall too.

So, at the very least these are very scary times potentially as bad as the beginning of World War I and World War II.

But, despite all this in the end (5 to 10 years from now) the world might see all this as a relatively good thing.

We will have to wait and see.

Begin quotes:

The phrase "there is nothing so bad that no good can come of it"
suggests that even in the most dire situations, something positive—such as a lesson, resilience, or a new opportunity—can be found. It reflects a perspective that focuses on potential, growth, and finding a "silver lining," often relating to personal resilience and finding meaning in difficult circumstances.
Key interpretations and perspectives include:
  • Perspective-Based: Similar to the Shakespearean quote, "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so" (Hamlet), it implies that our interpretation of an event defines its impact.
  • Personal Growth: Even in loss, a lesson can be learned, turning a negative experience into a gain in wisdom or strength.
  • Long-Term View: Sometimes, the "good" is not immediately obvious and requires time, reflection, and a wider perspective to recognize.
  • Resilience: It serves as a mindset to move forward from hardship rather than being consumed by it.
  • Alternative Viewpoint: Some argue that, while positive, this sentiment should not invalidate the severity of truly traumatic or evil events.

Potential "Good" from Bad:
  • Learning: Gaining experience, wisdom, or lessons from mistakes.
  • Strengthening: Building character, resilience, and fortitude.
  • Opportunity: Discovering new paths or better opportunities.
  • Unity: Emerging stronger and more connected after a shared, difficult experience.
