Star Trek (when it first started on TV) will be 60 years old this Fall! September 6th 1966 until September 6th 2026!

To give you some perspective from my personal point of view I graduated from a private High School in Santa Fe, New Mexico at a boarding school in May of 1966!

 

I grew up from about age  6 to 21 in the greater Los Angeles area in Tujunga and Glendale and went to public schools there except for my senior year in High school. This worked for me because the year in private school made sure I would go to college because I had almost dropped out of school before this because I thought high school was ridiculous! because I was growing up too fast with my first car when I turned 16 and dating a girl 21. So, the private school sort of reset my life and headed me to college rather than doing something else which was good.
