was the beginning of me studying about Tibetan Buddhism. It must have been around 1975 to 1977 that I read this book with my father. He was also studying about Elizabeth Clare Prophet and church universal and Triumphant at the time also known as "The Summit Lighthouse" started by Mark Prophet in the 1950s.

So, when I actually went to India and Nepal in 1985 I had already had several Tibetan Buddhist Initiations starting with Gyaltrul Rinpoche in Ashland, Oregon in 1980. Then a Phowa Initiation and a Hayagriva INitiation and a Dorje Drollo initiation and a Vajrasattva Initiation and a Medicine Buddha Initiation. Most of these were in 1983. Then in 1985 my then wife and 3 older children and I went to the Kalachakra Initiation with Geshe Lobsang Gyatso who had given us a Long Life White Tara initiation in Santa Cruz, California in I believe 1983. So, when we were in Thailand I got it to go then to India to meet up with Geshe Lobsang Gyatso who we had met in Santa Cruz in California.

So, then we receieved with Geshe Lobsang Gyatso's help a 4 day initiation along with the Dalai Lama and about 500,000 other people who were there for this initiation from all over the world. It is an initiation that All Tibetan Buddhists at that time wanted before they passed on so they could all go to Shambala whch is a Heaven realm they all wanted to go to.
