Geshe Lobsang Gyatso was known throughout Tibetan Buddhism especially by Gelukpas as a Master of Initiation of Long LIfe White Tara practice

 Geshe Lobsang Gyatso passed away in 1998 in California

Because of his mastery of White Tara he was sent to Lama Yeshe in Boulder Creek by the Dalai Lama to help him reincarnate into a Spanish boy who took up Lama Yeshe's work here on earth.
