why?

Because it likely will be 20 to 30 years before AI becomes profitable. For example, in companies around the world only 6% of them are institutionalizing this into their businesses so far even though 2.5 billion private users worldwide are using this mainly at home but mostly they aren't paying for this because they get it for free like me here for this site.
