If you were wondering why we have such terrible presidential candidates?

Look at the world around you. Would you want to be president today?

You'd have to be crazy to want that job. You would have to be a workaholic who liked ordering soldiers to go die in never ending police actions around the world. Who in their right mind would want that job of consoling hundreds and thousands of families as pieces of their children or fathers or mothers came home in a box?

There are not many people brave enough or workaholic enough for that these days.

This is the best answer to why we don't have good choices for the presidency this year.
