Trump is now legally completely unprepared to be inaugurated President. What I mean by this is anyone else would be considered "insane" to try to be inaugurated President in his legal circumstances. Here are just a few of the many many reasons:
1. His foundation has been found by the New York Attorney General to have broken many laws already.
2. His Hotel across from the White House becomes illegal the moment he becomes President because you cannot be president (or work for the government in any way) and have a lease of government land (a post office). So, Trump's Hotel becomes a wholly illegal thing the moment he becomes president.
3. It is true that a businessman with as many lawyers as he can buy can live like he does. However, for a president he needs to at least have the appearance of being legal and above board to be taken seriously by anyone.
4. So, there is no way Trump can be legal in any way. At present everyone knows he is the most corrupt president we have ever had the moment he is inaugurated.
5. From my point of view it will be like Inaugurating Al Capone as president of the U.S. This is the reality of the situation legally speaking.
So, if Trump is inaugurated because of all these problems it is much more likely that Vice President Pence would have to pardon Trump at the end of the day and take office himself because he doesn't have any of these problems.
Because otherwise, Trump likely would go to jail or be impeached his first day in office from all the laws he will have broken his first day in office.
Because he will have broken so many laws it will then be a shitstorm of broken laws, more than any president in U.S. history.
So, if Trump is inaugurated just expect him to have to resign the first day only to be pardoned by Pence who then will become president a lot like President Ford had to become president when Nixon resigned. And don't expect Pence to run again because he will have pardoned Trump just like Ford pardoned Nixon.
