Irregular heartbeat can lead to atrial fibrillation which can lead to Strokes

I was told all my life that my father's side of the family never died from Heart Attacks ever.

What I was told instead is that they usually died from irregular heartbeat problems often in their 70s or they had strokes.

But, just now I realized something else. Irregular heartbeat often creates later in life Atrial Fibrillation (heart flutter) but if you don't take something like Eliquis which is a modern Blood thinner you can sometimes get blood clots and blood clots create strokes.

So, you see the problem:

Irregular heartbeat can create atrial fibrillation as you get older and atrial fibrillation can evolve into blood Clots and Blood clots are what often create Strokes.

So, if you have an irregular heartbeat you need to check with your cardiologist about all this or else you could die of an atrial fibrillation giving you a blood clot and then some type of stroke.

However, blood clots can also get stuck in your leg, your heart or other body organs as well and cause minor to extreme problems (sometimes fatal ones) at many places in your body.

I don't like taking eliquis because it often makes me dizzy and I don't want to fall down a set of stairs or fall through a glass Shower door or something like that.

However, faced with the prospect of dying, dizziness just doesn't seem as bad as dying somehow.

Note; just in case I didn't mention this, Eliquis is a blood thinner that prevents strokes from Blood clots from occurring in a human body by thinning out the blood so much blood clots cannot occur.

However, the two most common side effects from taking Eliquis are dizziness or Rectal bleeding. So, if you get rectal bleeding maybe you shouldn't take it for a day or two to stop this problem. However, then you are also more vulnerable to blood clots when you do this.

Getting older can be really difficult with choices like this to make every day. However, the alternative is just often your death. So, stay calm and make the best decisions you can every day.
