It was sunny in the 50s for the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California

My cousin was in the Rose Parade in a band in 1960 when I was 12 years old so my parents and I were there that year too. I remember the place from about 4am  in the morning which is how early you had to get there in order to attend then (and possibly now too). It was very cold then and so the sunlight was very welcome. They don't do the Rose Parade on Sundays and it has only rained it out on 10 occasions in 134 years.
